Important: Please ensure you have downloaded all client photos, contract copies, and tax invoices prior to final deletion. Deletion of customer galleries cannot be reversed once the 7-day review expires.

Data Deletion & Retention Policy Details

Transparent information regarding what data is deleted, what data is retained, and how your deletion request is processed.

1. What Data Will Be Deleted

When your account deletion is confirmed and processed after the 7–8 days review period, the following categories of data associated with your account are permanently and irreversibly deleted from our primary databases and object storage:

Account Profile: Name, registered email address, mobile number, studio branding, profile photos, and credentials.
Client Galleries: All uploaded photographs, proofs, high-resolution deliveries, and client view access links.
Studio Operations: Booking calendars, client directories, contracts, e-signatures, and custom domain bindings.
Authentication & Tokens: Mobile app session tokens, OAuth authorizations, and push notification tokens.

2. Data Retained for Statutory & Legal Compliance

As required by applicable laws in India (including the Companies Act, GST Act, and Prevention of Money Laundering Act), StudioMitra is legally required to retain certain records:

• Tax Invoices & Payment Ledgers: Transaction timestamps, GST invoices, and payment gateway references are retained for the statutory retention period (up to 7–8 years) to comply with tax audit and accounting mandates.

• Fraud Prevention & Dispute Logs: Anonymized transaction hashes and security incident records may be preserved strictly to defend against chargeback disputes, cyber fraud investigations, and regulatory inquiries.

• Retained compliance records are isolated in encrypted, restricted-access ledgers and are never used for marketing or commercial purposes.

3. Step-by-Step Deletion Schedule & Review Timeline

Day 1: Submission & Immediate Session Freeze

Once you submit this form and confirm deletion, your ticket is logged. Active app sessions on mobile and web are revoked.

Days 2–3: Administrative & Safety Review

Our compliance desk reviews the account to confirm there are no pending client disputes, active payout holds, or unverified subscription charges.

Days 4–7: Grace & Revocation Window

If you change your mind, you may email support@studiomitra.com with your reference number to revoke the deletion request and restore access.

Day 8: Irreversible Purge & Notification

All galleries, photos, metadata, and database identifiers are permanently purged from production databases and S3 object stores. A final confirmation email is dispatched.
